STYLE 1420 (SBR): (Spec Sheet) |
Styrene butadiene rubber or Red Rubber is an economical rubber
compound recommended for a variety of low pressure applications in hot or cold
water, saturated steam, ammonia or mild caustic soda. It exhibits good aging,
abrasion resistance and tear resistance. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1422 (CSM): (Spec Sheet) |
Hypalon® provides good resistance to ozone and
excellent resistance to abrasion, weather, and heat. The oil resistance
characteristics of Style 1422 are similar to neoprene. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1432 (NR): (Spec Sheet) |
Natural Rubber, or Pure Gum is soft and highly resilient providing
excellent abrasion and acid resistance, and high tensile and tear strength. It
has good application in medium to low pressure requiring a soft rubber
seal. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1444:
(Spec Sheet) |
Viton® Fluoroelastomer rubber sheet is resistant to a
wide range of oils and solvents. It exhibits good abrasion and tear
resistance. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1450 (CR):
(Spec Sheet) |
Chloroprene, or Neoprene is an economical rubber sheet moderately
resistant to oil. It resists ozone and is recommended for hot and cold
applications. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1451 (NBR):
(Spec Sheet) |
White Nitrile rubber sheet designed for use where contamination is a
problem in the food and beverage industry, chemical processes, or petroleum
refineries. Nitrile exhibits good physical properties, same as Style
1452. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1452 (NBR):
(Spec Sheet) |
Nitrile sheet is resistant to solvents, oil, water and hydraulic
fluid. It offers good compression set and tensile strength. Nitrile exhibits
good heat resistance, low creep, good resilience, and good abrasion
resistance. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1453 (EPDM):
(Spec Sheet) |
Ethylene propylene and terpolymer is recognized for its resistance
to weathering and high temperatures. It exhibits excellent resistance to animal
and vegetable oils, water, steam and oxygenated solvents, but performs poorly
in petroleum derivatives. |
 |
 |
STYLE 1560 (TA):
(Spec Sheet)
 |
Silicone is a semi-organic synthetic rubber with good low and high
temperature resistance. Silicone exhibits low tensile strength, good
compression set and resilience and is moderately resistant to
solvents. |
